How To Clear Water From Your Scuba Mask
Posted by MoE-Bike on 11:38 AM
It is not uncommon when diving to have a little water leak into your diving mask. This can happen if there is a small breach between the seal and your face (for instance you get hair between them). Sometimes your mask can get flooded if it gets knocked for whatever reason.
Breath holding and free diving:
Posted by MoE-Bike on 6:21 AM
With the recent breath holding world record set at a new high of over 19 minutes, a lot of people are wondering how it is that a human can go without oxygen for so long. Our guide will give you a quick-start into.
SHALLOW WATER BLACKOUT (Latent hypoxia)

Shallow water blackout (SWB)
A shallow water blackout is a loss of consciousness caused by cerebral hypoxia towards the end of a breath-hold dive in water typically shallower than five meters (16 feet), when the swimmer does
Nitrogen Narcosis While Scuba Diving
Posted by MoE-Bike on 9:14 AM
What is nitrogen narcosis?
Nitrogen narcosis is a condition of confusion or stupor resulting from increased levels of dissolved nitrogen in the blood, occurring when breathing compressed air. Its effects usually become noticeable when diving below 30m (100ft), although it is reported some divers are affected as low as 20metres (65 feet) while some are fine

The effects of pressure

Rules of th Deep |
Being underwater means being under pressure, and that pressure increases rapidly as you dive deeper. That means that the various gas laws come into play, and those laws can impact the "function of living organisms and their parts," i.e. YOU. So let's quickly revisit those laws:
Scuba

Scuba diving ("scuba" originally being an acronym for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, although now widely considered a word in its own) is a form of underwater diving in which a diver uses a scuba set to breathe underwater for recreation, commercial or industrial reasons.

Can Air bubbles be that amazing !!!!

The smoke that was coming out of the boat exhaust was filling my air passages, and the diesel engine of the tug boat was wouding my ears... the sun was so hot, that you could not walk on the surface bare foot without getting ur feet burned... the waves were higher than usual making it unsafe to dive, especially in ur early training days. But in NAVY they don't spoil their men - in one word it was "pain" being on the tug boat that day. However, the clear deep blue water of the Mediterranean made it worth it, it wasn't my first dive in open water using scuba but it was the first one to the depth of 50 meters where the water is clearer and there are no annoying herds of jelly fish. It's fun to watch them swimming like sciene fiction creatures, but swimming with them is not so pleasant especially in close encounters !!!
